Who AM I?

Every year, the month of February is dedicated to Black History! Each time we read a story, whether it is a praise story or a story of remorse and pain; it still brings back to memory the stories of many who suffered tragic losses!

Jesus sat with the unloved: the prostitutes, tax collectors (hustlers), and gamblers!

So many questions unanswered and mysteries still not solved! It truly pains us to not have a firm foundation in our heritage to understand our beginning so we can have a strong finish! We are all trying to secure our identity and still there are missing pieces to the puzzle! Who am I, is the question many ask themselves!

Robert Smalls, an unsung hero who stole a ship and freed many slaves and his

If we uncover the flesh, no one would be able to identify what color you are, because underneath we are all created the same! So why then did God make us all different on the outside? That’s the challenge faced in biblical days and today! Now listen and listen closely, it is to see where your “heart” is!

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”. (Matthew 6:21 KJV)

Slave Family on South Carolina plantation!

Your treasure could be the love of money and power, or it could be control! Many feel God created only one race and want to eliminate all of those unlike them; like Paul who imprisoned and killed Christians because he was doing it from a religious view point. Read Acts Chapter 9! God created you and knew who and what He created and said, “It is good”! But the biggest affliction in this world stems back to how many seek prestige and power on earth that weakens the Spirit and gives power to destruction!

Are you of the world (Satan's domain) or are you of the Spirit (Heaven bound)?

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:26-27 KJV)

That is your identity!

Do You REALLY Know?

I was in JC Penney a few years ago just browsing and this woman passed me calling a little girl who was in the shoe section to come on, she was ready to leave. The little girl quickly grabbed a specific pair of shoes and walked over to her, pleading for the shoes. Well being social, I commented they were very cute shoes and would look good on her. The Grandmother proceeded with, “She has more than enough shoes at home and although they are cute, we are not buying them”. The little girl begged for a short while and realized she was not going to win this battle, so the shoes went back to the shoe department. As the little girl was leaving, her Grandmother began telling me how she provides for the child quite often and her daughter (the child's Mother) do not have a good relationship. She badly berated her daughter to the point I said in my mind, “God should I pray for this woman”; because from listening to her story, I felt the relationship could not continue is this manner, an...

SILENCE - does no one Justice!

I posted this September 25, 2016 on social media. I have added some things; but it still holds weight and value! God put this on my heart to repost, and almost 4 years later many are seeing what Dr. King meant in the 60’s! I am speaking of those who call themselves Christians and Pastors who are silent and have been for centuries! Jesus says in John 15:17-18 AMPC: 17 This is what I command you: that you love one another. 18 If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you. Jesus also said: J ohn 15:10-16 AMPC If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love  and  live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and live on in His love. I have told you these things, that My joy  and  delight may be in you, and that your joy  and  gladness may be of full measure  and  complete  and  overflowing. This is My commandment: that you love one another [jus...

Abiding in the Vine!

I am the vine you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5 NIV).   I do not own the rights to this photo  In the natural you are not able to change anyone who has an addiction. The worst thing we can do is to constantly talk about it to others. Satan I do not own the rights to this photo  has a stronghold on their thinking. Give it to God and let Him, in His power, restore your loved ones; and do not talk about it again. Once you pray, you are saying, God I am giving you permission to take care of my loved one~ and you are putting your Trust in God to do what only He can do anyway!  So get on your knees and pray and do not speak of what your loved one is going through anymore, but speak of what God is doing in their lives and how He is changing them from Glory to Glory!   And Don’t forget to “Thank Him”! In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree ...
