Why do I feel like a failure! Am I really a failure? Have I truly hit rock bottom? What is going on?  Close up of rocks! Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. (I Peter 2:7-8 NIV) Have I surrounded myself with chaos, self-pity, selfish desires and wants; with the assumption: “This is how life is supposed to be”. Yes, that's it, this is how life is! I'm not the only one stressed out, tossing and turning with worry, on anti-depression pills, and in constant fear and doubt of what will happen or better yet, what is going to happen? Jealousy is normal, and so is doubt and worry! Where do you think all these appalling...

The students who marched boldly, stepped out and reached out to gain the attention of our leaders. It is a sad situation and the act of violence that truly needs to cease! As I briefly listened, the stories were not just with our schools, but in our communities, our homes, and our jobs. We are in harms way every where we go. It's not the guns, or is it poverty, wealth or the situation our lives have turned to; it's deeper than that! Why do we do that? You know, act like we are the most mistreated people in the world! If you stop to have a “brief” conversation with someone, in 3 minutes of listening to them, they have told you ALL about their troubles; and how it is destroying their lives. Yes, I am on a roll; because, I too, caught myself feeling blue – and for what? For no apparent reason other than Satan putting thoughts into my mind of what is not right in my life; whereas, basically, something didn't go the way I wanted it to, or expected it to, so I immediately went into a “feel sorry” mode! No one has thrown me under the bus other than my selfish desires. If things don't go our way, some have temper tantrums (yes even as adults), many force the issue and hurt others along that way with no conscious of how and who they hurt, and most sit around magnifying their misery by meditating on it to the point of either medicating themselves to numb the pain; or using another means of pleasure that ca...

Notice that the scripture below in Verse 14 says, "According to His will"! By believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; and accepting Him into our hearts, we inherit a priceless jewel that can never be broken, sold, buried, or stolen. NO ONE has ever suffered what Jesus did to give us the inheritance that we do not deserve, but, it's ours when we believe! Being in God's will is believing in Jesus, who is our mediator, intercessor, protector, healer, judge, and MUCH, MUCH more. Priceless benefits that no other employer can match or take away from us. Jesus is a "jewel" you can't purchase, or sell. There is nothing God doesn't give us; however, we are not truly mindful of the magnitude of Jesus suffering, He endured at the cross for us to have life everlasting. God's will is to be in a relationship with Him and believe Jesus is His Son, who died on the cross to give us life and have it in abundance to the full, until it overflows. I ...

God, in our shame, guilt, and acts of wrong things we know are just sinful we run from You instead of to You to deliver us from Satan's wrath of destruction.  When we hide, darkness becomes darker! It is never too late or you are never too young or too old to live a life of freedom from sin and God's peace (trust and total dependence in Him to always be by your side). GOD IS LOVE! And many of us have the wrong idea about God too!  He also laughs, has a sense of humor, and full of joy! Who would want to be around someone who is always serious, don't laugh or know how to have good, clean fun? None of us. If you think about it, most of us gravitate towards people who are fun. Well that's how Jesus is, if He wasn't, He would not have had that many followers- nor would He have so many jealous of Him too! Hint: the Pharisees!
