It's All Good!

Ok, we are going to talk about cooking. It's getting colder and many of us enjoy a hot bowl of chili on a cold winter day. I know that there are so many varieties of how all of us cook it. The west cook it different than the east and the south cook it different than the north. Some put beans in there chili, some don't. Some put a variety of pasta ~ and again some don't!

Some families have passed down recipes for generations, others watch the cooking channel and think ~ hmmm, I think I'll get that recipe and try it sometime! For those of you who have something different that no one has - - or you think no one else makes it the way you do - - - send me your recipe; I'd like to try it!

 Then Jesus explained: " My nourishment comes from doing the will of God who sent me, and from finishing his work. Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields of human souls are ripening all around us, and are ready now for reaping. I was in JC Penney a few years ago just browsing and this woman passed me calling a little girl who was in the shoe section to come on, she was ready to leave. The little girl quickly grabbed a specific pair of shoes and walked over to her, pleading for the shoes. Well being social, I commented they were very cute shoes and would look good on her. The Grandmother proceeded with, “She has more than enough shoes at home and although they are cute, we are not buying them”. # 7 Objectives (n) - something your working towards Increase! ---Hmmm! Increase in what? I'm not sure what you mean by increase! Increase in finances maybe ~ or increase in knowledge ~ or perhaps you mean increase in healthy friendships!  All of these are attainable; however, they are not accomplished without work on our part to obtain them ~ and keep them. Maybe you want to increase your household! Uh Oh! (Big Smile) ~ VUALA ~ here's your baby! Wow that would be wonderful if it worked out that way, but we know better huh?  How many of you have really sat down with a goal in mind and established a step by step plan to reach that goal? Appetizer # 8

# 8 Self-Respect (n) - proper pride; dignity Oh yes, I did not do well in Business Law. To be honest, I could have cared less about court cases, what the law says about landlord rights, tenant rights, labor law rights, etc. After all, I had a home, a full time job (that at the time, I had no intention of leaving), and I was married with children. I decided to go back to college after the kids were school age, to better my life and theirs~so I thought! I was working third shift, 40 hours a week; and juggling Motherhood and being a wife. Well - all of that together did not mix well at all!  Of course I was tired. In between classes, I would go to the student lounge and sleep ~ there was also times I would doze while driving their and back home.
