Acceptance is Freedom!

I needed at least 12 hours of Psychology or Sociology to complete my Associate of Science in Business Administration in 2007. I had all but 3 hours left and I chose a Sociology class that was about humanity and races. I was not sure what I was going to learn from this class, but it tweaked my interest!

The class began reiterating how the United Kingdom became a colonial power. With numerous languages being spoken among the nations, the British Empire decided it to be beneficial in the political realm to establish English as the native language. They immediately began to separate those different from them by color, so as to increase the majority and decrease the minority; or put another way, oppress those who are darker in skin tone. This did not appall me at all, but what did appall me was the lack of knowledge most of the world has to this; whereas, all other countries do not separate and divide by race, but by family and wealth. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10 KJV)  It was a man-made decision to separate races, just like many of our religious institutions do today. Christianity is for all people.

God gave me a revelation recently on why there are different skin colors, hair textures, and stature. It truly opened my eyes as to why He put those in the northern part of the world with fair skin, and those in the southern part of the world with darker skin.
Research has shown that darker skin has more melanin to protect the skin from the UV radiation; however, fair skin does not have as much. We are all placed in certain parts of the world with purpose and on purpose; and because we have become complacent in seeking knowledge and God’s Word, we also have become a Nation of captivity! ~ Especially in our thinking! We allow others to present their knowledge to us in their own accord, instead of seeking it for ourselves; and asking God for the wisdom to understand it!

God is the creator of us all!

So whether we like it or not; our nation is still poor in spirit and truth. We seek everything, but God, to satisfy our needs!

Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel,
For the Lord has a [legal] case with the inhabitants of the land,
Because there is no faithfulness [no steadfast love, no dependability] or loyalty or kindness Or knowledge of God [from personal experience with Him] in the land. There is [false] swearing of oaths, deception (broken faith), murder, stealing, and adultery; They employ violence, so that one [act of] bloodshed follows closely on another. Therefore the land [continually] mourns, And everyone who lives in it languishes [in tragic suffering] Together with the animals of the open country and the birds of the heavens; Even the fish of the sea disappear. Yet let no one find fault, nor let any rebuke [others]; For your people are like those who contend with the priest. So you will stumble in the daytime, And the [false] prophet will also stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother (Israel).
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge [of My law, where I reveal My will]. Because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge,
I will also reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. The more they multiplied [in numbers and increased in power], the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame. They (the priests) feed on the sin offering of My people And set their heart on their wickedness. And it shall be: like people, like priest [both are wicked and both will be judged]; So I will punish them for their ways And repay them for their deeds. They will eat, but not have enough; They will play the prostitute, but not increase [their descendants], Because they have stopped giving heed to the Lord.
Prostitution, wine, and new wine take away the mind and the [spiritual] understanding. My people consult their [lifeless] wooden idol, and their [diviner’s] wand gives them oracles. For a spirit of prostitution has led them astray [morally and spiritually], And they have played the prostitute, withdrawing themselves from their God. Hosea 4:1-12 AMP

Appetizer # 6 - Dreams

Appetizer #6 Dreams - Images in the mind For years, I would have the same dream of entering a beautiful mansion and I could remember being awestruck of how beautiful it was. I would marvel at the quality of its craftsmanship.  I would slowly walk down the beautiful marble staircase into the basement.  Once I got to the bottom of the stairs, there was this black door that had a little window on it. Imagine going into a dungeon and the only way anyone could see out was through this peep hole and vice versa.  When I went to open the door, an evil spirit would come near me and I would wake up immediately! As I mentioned this dream went on for years, until I realized that it was the devil. As soon as I confronted him that he will no longer allow me to live in fear of God's blessings and that he had no power over me either, the dream stopped immediately. I know that my ways are not God's ways and my thoughts are not God's thoughts, but to live a life filled with God's ...

Biblical Conviction Series Part 4 of 4

In the final Biblical Conviction Series, I had in my mind who and what to present; however, God led me to read the book of Joshua. After reading just a few chapters, it is evident that Joshua is truly a man of biblical conviction. In the book of Joshua as you read Joshua Chapter 1, you will find in Chapter 1:6 “ Be strong (confident) and of good courage”, Chapter 1:7 “Only you be strong and very courageous”, Chapter1:9 “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous”, and Chapter 1:18 “Only be strong, vigorous, and of good courage”.  Now I’m sure you are wondering why God reminded Joshua four times in Chapter 1 to be strong, confident and of good courage; I did also, until God revealed to me why He continued to remind Joshua of obtaining and maintaining these characteristics.  “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to t...
Appetizer # 2 -Mental Attitude ~ a state of feeling or mind about a person or situation WOW! I know that I have had some bad attitudes in situations that were not necessary to even entertain. I can recall one of my many times I developed an attitude before I allowed myself a good attitude about going to a community dance in my hometown. I just knew it was going to be boring and the people that were going to be there, I had nothing in common with (or I thought),  many of them there were not my age; and I did not have anything nice to wear, I needed to make sure my children were sleep first, and on and on and on - -  "Geez" I kept coming up with excuse, after excuse, after excuse!! My negative attitude about going to this dance could have kept me - - -- well, what many of us pass up - - - it's called "living"; IF, I would not have regrouped and decided to go anyway.  I found a babysitter, obviously found something to wear with a pair of my many fabulous sho...
